Last week we held the first quarterly meeting of a newly appointed joint Clinical Reference Group for Te Pou o te Whakaaro Nui and Werry Workforce Whāraurau. This group of eminent representatives from relevant sector areas provides a forum for feedback and allows us to share information with varied sector groups. The Ministry of Health and Disability Commission will also join us regularly to add their expertise. The advice and ideas that spring are invaluable. Particularly in discussions on how we will view longer term planning, made possible by 5+ year contracts with Health Workforce New Zealand.
At Werry, we welcomed Sasha Soupen to the Parenting Portfolio team as Assistant Project Manager. Sasha previously worked part time with the Project Support team while completing her Masters and we were thrilled she applied for the role. Lisa Maughan, National Coordinator for Triple P, has gone on Maternity Leave and last week welcomed a gorgeous daughter.
Our bubbly Core Services Manager Rachel leaves in mid-April on a new venture, and we will shortly recruit her replacement. While our Business Analyst Leanne Eruera into our newly created Operations Manager position, which I am very pleased about.
