Foundations in ICAMH: Infant, Child, Youth and Whānau Mental Health and Train the Trainer session - 11 July 2019

Werry Workforce Whāraurau is offering a Foundations in ICAMH training day, focusing on Youth Mental Health and Trauma. Also a ‘Train the Trainer’ session to experienced ICAMH, NGO and Primary Level staff

 

This face-to-face training will assist experienced ICAMH, NGO and Primary Level staff to deliver the Foundations in ICAMH: Infant, Child, Youth and Whānau Mental Health* training package to their staff. 

  • The Foundations training package enhances the skills and knowledge of staff in infant, child and youth mental health and AOD concerns. 
  • By completing the Foundations course, staff will progress toward meeting the primary and core levels of the Real Skills Plus ICAMH/AOD Competency Framework.
  • It can be used as part of orientation training and ongoing professional development.

* Foundations in ICAMH: Infant, Child, Youth and Whānau Mental Health is an online training course providing foundation learning on infant, child, youth mental health and how to work with their whānau. It is designed to enhance the skills and knowledge of the ICAMH, NGO and Primary workforce. The online learning is free and accessible at https://werryworkforce.org/elearning

 

The focus of the Train the Trainer session is how to deliver the training.
