This session comes from the perspective of two clinicians working at the coal face.

Presenters: Anneke Bylsma and Rebecca Purdon, Northland DHB     

Rebecca Purdon
Becs is a Community Mental Health Nurse for Te Roopu Kimiora. She has been working in CAMHS for the past 3 years and has completed her Post Graduate study in this area. Prior to working for Te Roopu Kimiora Becs was a medical nurse working in a general medicine ward. Becs loves working with young people and is really looking forward to presenting on “Letting Go”.

Anneke Bylsma
Anneke is an Occupational Therapist who has worked in CAMHS for almost 5 years. She has also completed her Post Graduate studies in CAMHS. During this time she has worked under the CAPA model and is very familiar with the concept of Letting Go although is aware of the challenges involved in this.
