Motivational Interviewing: Introductory Training for the Youth Forensic Sector - 25 November 2020

 

Werry Workforce Whāraurau is excited to host two introductory sessions to Motivational Interviewing 

on Wednesday 25 and Thursday 26 November 2020, 09:30am - 12:00pm

 

 

These sessions (the second a repeat of the first) are open to people who work in Youth Forensic or Justice settings. Both sessions are presented by Ben Birks Ang. 

Ben Birks Ang is the Deputy Executive Director - Programmes for the New Zealand Drug Foundation. Ben and his team lead projects that bring different sectors together to improve wellbeing and reduce harm from alcohol and other drugs. He has extensive experience establishing and overseeing school-based, community, and residential drug and alcohol programmes. In addition, he is the Chair of the professional association that oversees the competence and ethics of the addiction workforce in New Zealand.

Numbers are limited to 30 attendees per session and your earliest registration is recommended. 

We will close registrations once the sessions reach capacity and a calendar appointment and Zoom link will be sent to the approved attendees.
