A motivated self-starter, you must enjoy the challenges of case management, including assessment, treatment and building relationships with consumers and their families/whanau. This position is for an experienced clinician with mental health experience.

The Team

The West Adult Community Service has an exciting opportunity for a community Mental Health Nurse with mental health experience to join our team as a crisis resolution worker. Crisis Resolution provides a 24 hour service assessing the needs and providing treatment and support to clients experiencing psychiatric crisis.

The Role:

  • As a professional and highly motivated nurse, who displays a positive attitude and enthusiasm for this area of work, you will enjoy being part of a committed and diverse MDT team, you will work in collaboration with a group of professionals that recognises the importance of providing quality care and services to their patients, friends and whanau
  • Working within a multi-disciplinary team, and in collaboration with our clients and their family/whanau, primary care, community supports and our inpatient team your ability to think on your feet and triage and prioritize your patients appropriately in a timely manner is essential
  • Must have Mental health nursing scope of practice
  • Hold a full driver's license (essential)
