About the team
Southern DHB’s Child and Family Mental Health Service (CAFMHS) is a specialised service providing assessment, support and treatment for children (0-18 years) experiencing moderate to severe mental health issues, including support to family.

About the Role
This position will see you managing a caseload, providing assessment, treatment and co-working to facilitate the best outcome for children and family. You will enjoy working collaboratively alongside other experienced clinical staff to promote healthy family systems and be able to form sound links with external agencies.
You will bring to this role flexibility and experience in working with children and their families within a multidisciplinary setting. We provide good orientation to the position and will support your ongoing professional development needs.
To be considered for this position you must have relevant mental health experience, experience in working with young people experiencing mental health issues and hold current registration and an annual practising certificate as either a Registered Nurse (with a scope of practice that allows you to practice in mental health) or an Allied Health Professional (Social Worker, Occupational Therapist).
You will be required to participate on an after-hours on call roster and be a DAO (Duly Authorised Officer) or undertake training. A current, full driver licence is essential.
