Occupational Therapist C & A
Our dynamic and enthusiastic multi-disciplinary Child and Adolescent Mental Health team has a passion for providing specialist assessment and treatment to infants, children, young people and their families when there is a mental health concern. They are dedicated to improving access for children and young people and working together with families; to achieve this they are implementing the Choice and Partnership Approach. Knowledge of this delivery model will be an advantage.
This role is open to occupational therapists who bring a variety of skills and expertise including working with infants, children, young people and their families; bi-cultural and multi-cultural work practices; multi-disciplinary team working; and community liaison. An interest and experience in sensory modulation would be a definite advantage. The role is part time - 28 hours per week.
This position will include mental health assessments and treatment, acute assessments, and case management. There will be an opportunity for group work. You should be comfortable working with children and teenagers and their families.
- Hold an occupational therapy qualification
- Be registered with the SWRB
- Have a current annual practicing certificate
