Parenting Portfolio Manager

Play an integral role in supporting a variety of national projects related to the provision of services for mental health improvement and child wellbeing in NZ.

Werry Workforce Whāraurau focuses on workforce development into the mental health and wellbeing of infants, children and adolescents and those who care for them. Werry Workforce provides national training and workforce development within the child and adolescent mental health sector, and works alongside the other three Ministry funded Mental Health Workforce Centres. In summary, the team provides advice and support into the development of key resources, documents and national working groups. Our work programmes are national and our Project Managers actively engage with our sectors. They organise and facilitate a range of training and education workshops and events.

This position is responsible for strengthening the capacity and sustainability of a variety of parenting programme projects (including the Incredible Years and Triple P). We are looking for someone with a track record in successfully managing/supporting multiple projects, excellent stakeholder management and evidence of budget management. To succeed in this role, you will also have strong communication skills, a mature yet enthusiastic approach, ability to be flexible and juggle multiple priorities.  You will ideally have some clinical or health sector experience and need to be free to travel domestically.

This appointment is through UniServices, Australasia's largest University research company which is owned by the University of Auckland and responsible for providing the University's research expertise to government and industry.
