The Clinical Leader role
The Clinical Leader supports the Medical Director to develop sustainable clinical services within the Mental Health, Addictions and intellectual Disability Service (MHAIDS) that deliver on budget, revenue and activity targets. The Clinical Leader will work in collaboration with other Clinical Leaders and relevant internal and external stakeholders to contribute to the design and delivery of contemporary multi-disciplinary patient-centric models of care.
This position works in collaboration and cooperation with their counterparts and other related positions in the rest of the 3 DHBs.
The Consultant Psychiatry role
The psychiatry role is based within the Crisis Resolution Service (CRS). The CRS provides 24 hour, seven day a week assessment and short-term treatment services for people experiencing a serious mental health crisis and for whom there are urgent safety issues. The team provides after-hours crisis contact for clients of MHAIDS, general practitioners, community and consumer groups and other health professionals.
